Join Palaver for an adventurous exploration of the relationship between music and dance, featuring choreography by Chavi Bansal and members of Vimoksha Dance Company. In the second half of the program, all are invited to join us for a contra dance—a New England tradition where old dance forms are alive and well. We will be joined by Dela Murphy along with instrumentalists Neil Pearlman, Owen Marshall and Baron Collins Hill. A caller will instruct the dancers while Palaver plays, so no experience or partner is required.
